About

Victoria Children's Choir

since 2001
THE VICTORIA CHILDREN’S CHOIR

Every season, 115 young choristers collaborate to learn and perform extraordinary music. Led by Artistic Director Madeleine Humer (2013 Arts Leader of the Year, CFAX 1070 Annual Community Awards), and a professional artistic team, children in Concert, Recital, and Prelude ensembles (ages seven to eighteen) are immersed in the city's best choral academy of music mentorship and singing.

The Victoria Children's Choir studies and performs beautiful, fun, unexpected, and challenging music - including classical and contemporary styles, custom arrangements, commissioned works, and songs that explore language and sound. Singers share their award-winning repertoire at a variety of signature concerts, guest appearances, and community events to inspire the hearts and minds of all music-lovers.
