Benny Baird

I’m looking for musicians interested in working on original songs in a small group with diverse instrumentation. If you play the trumpet, slide guitar, or fiddle, I’m especially into a jam.

Currently exploring ragtime, blues, early jazz, Western swing, etc, though I’ve enjoyed listening to and playing all kinds. Much of my musical life has been as a solo street musician, and I’d like to start playing with others regularly.

Lots to learn, quick study, would love to find ppl with complementary skills (theory, composition, arranging, improvisation) and collaborate on songwriting for recording and performance (post-COVID). I’m a “serious“ musician who really wants to have fun with music while continuing to learn and grow and assimilate new ideas.
